2-Day Breathwork for Therapists CPD course

Educating, Inspiring, Changing lives

This course focuses on the art of breath control or Pranayama. This is a centuries-old practice originating in India that has been used to enhance the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of people. It consists of a series of exercises designed to meet the body’s needs and keep it in vibrant health. The course is ideal for therapists who want to improve the effectiveness of their treatments.

Our Breathwork for Therapists course is designed to give you the tools to incorporate breathwork techniques into your treatments. This course is perfect for therapists who are interested in deepening their knowledge and skills to improve their clients’ well-being. The course is led by Tri-Dosha founder, Sunita Passi and experienced practitioners who will guide you through the different stages of Pranayama and provide practical tips for incorporating these techniques into your practice.

The course covers four stages of Pranayama, including Arambha, Ghata, Parichay, and Nispatti. In the first stage, Arambha, we will awaken your interest in Pranayama. You will learn about the different breathing techniques, their benefits, and how to incorporate them into your daily life. In the second stage, Ghata, we will guide you through the merging of the three sariras to envelope the soul – the gross, subtle, and causal, this stage can be seen as a deepening of the practice. In the third stage, Parichay, you will experience the knowledge of Pranayama, this stage can be seen as a deepening of the understanding of the practice and the potential of its benefits, and the fourth stage, Nispatti, can be seen as the goal of the practice, where the practitioner experiences a deep sense of connection and unity with the universe. For therapists, understanding this stage can help them to encourage their clients to approach the practice with a sense of openness and curiosity. This can involve exploring different approaches to breathwork, including visualization, mantra, and meditation.

Testimonials:

  • "The tutor aptly guided our sessions to help me deepen my understanding of technique and I am grateful our paths have crossed. I highly recommend this course and style of teaching, whether to develop your own practice or as a teacher. You won't be disappointed."

    Nicola Brunton, HR Officer
  • "Life can throw you challenges and the need to re-calibrate is essential before stepping forward again. This course offers a deep knowledge in the science of breathwork, and the teaching is supportive throughout the learning process. The course was instrumental in helping me reach a more connected place. For example, the 'breathwork' methodology was a brilliant overview to finally understand 'how to' breath. Step by step guidance allowed me to really 'feel' the benefits quite quickly. It is great to have worked with a tutor who is natural at healing and wants nothing more than their client/s to benefit genuinely from Ayurvedic tools in a modern world."

    Sonal Patel, Senior Business Development
  • "I've had the benefit of attending Tri-Dosha's trainings. The tutor has reminded and motivated me into a positive practice, which has been rewarding in so many ways, with a very natural affinity for working with people and I easily connected with her. It really helped that her approach removes the 'mystique' around the techniques. I highly recommend this program to both those wishing to deepen their own practice and for teachers who want to hone their skills. I've experienced the tutor's (Sunita) guidance as heartfelt."
