AYURVEDIC RENEWAL FOR THE NEW SEASON
As the season of renewal unfolds, April invites us to shed the old and embrace transformation.
This month, we shine a light on the radiant journey of Naomi Newlan, one of Tri-Dosha’s gifted Holistic Consultants. Naomi’s path is a beautiful example of what it means to listen deeply, heal from within, and step into feminine power through the lens of Ayurveda.
🌿 Naomi’s journey: From Tri-Dosha student to sacred space holder
Nine years ago, Naomi trained with Tri-Dosha, and her journey since has been nothing short of soul-stirring. She travelled across continents—from the sunshine of L.A. to the magic of Ibiza—where she shared her healing gifts and deepened her practice.
Today, Naomi is rooted back in the UK, offering Ayurvedic treatments and sacred movement rituals in the soulful town of Lewes, just outside Brighton. Her practice is an alchemy of deep Ayurvedic healing and her newest offering, Kundadance—a movement practice that invites women to return to their power, softness, and spiritual sovereignty.
🔥 A path of transformation
In 2005, as I stood in the light of an October full moon, delivering my first Ayurvedic Massage Therapies course, I knew something ancient had awakened. It was the realisation that transformation is not just a practice — it’s a path.
That realisation became the foundation of Tri-Dosha: combining the timeless science of Ayurveda with the cycles of nature, light and dark, and the truth that deep healing is sacred, emotional, and spiritual.
Naomi embodies that path. Her work today is not just about beauty—it’s about truth. Her treatments go beyond the surface to awaken the soul, reconnect you to your inner Ayurvedic priestess, and support you in reclaiming your feminine wisdom.
🌀 Discover Kundadance with Naomi
Naomi’s latest calling, Kundadance, is a powerful journey that blends movement, breath, music, and mantra. Rooted in the chakra system, this dance-based practice guides women to shed what no longer serves and return to their sacred centre.
I recently joined one of Naomi’s online sessions, and it was nothing short of divine. With each movement, something unlocked—tension softened, creativity flowed, and my nervous system felt reset. It was like stepping into a temple of the body.

🌱 Spring renewal with Tri-Dosha
In Ayurveda, spring is the time of Kapha—a season for letting go of heaviness, cleansing the system, and inviting lightness back into our bodies. Here are some of our favourite ways to harmonise with the season:
1. Cleanse with Neem
Neem is known in Ayurveda as “sarva roga nivarini” — the healer of all disease. This bitter herb is perfect for spring detox and clearing out excess Kapha.
Try this Ayurvedic Morning Cleanse:
-
1 tsp Tri-Dosha Neem Powder
-
Juice of 1 fresh lemon
-
A pinch of turmeric
-
Warm water
Drink this first thing to cleanse the blood, support liver function, and brighten the skin.
2. Switch to plant-powered haircare
Our Neem Shampoo & Conditioner are crafted with pure Ayurvedic botanicals and have passed independent lab testing for performance and safety. These formulas:
-
Detox the scalp
-
Encourage healthy hair growth
-
Reduce dandruff and itchiness
-
Restore natural shine
Free from parabens, SLS, and harsh chemicals, they’re the perfect way to transition into a more conscious, Ayurvedic haircare routine.
🌸 Awaken your inner wisdom this April
This month is your invitation to connect more deeply—to your breath, your body, and your feminine power. Whether it’s dancing with Naomi, booking a facial treatment, or simply adding neem to your morning routine, allow Ayurveda to be your guide.
Let this season be one of cleansing, awakening, and remembering who you are.
Until next time, Namaste!
